The 2005 Group, chaired by Resident Board members of the Neighbourhood Partnership Board on a rolling basis brings together representatives of the resident groups operating on Castle Vale. A key aspect of the role of the 2005 Group is to monitor local services and work with service providers to bring about improvements and to channel feedback primarily through the Neighbourhood Partnership Board meetings.
- Working to ensure the high quality of life for all Castle Vale residents is maintained
To enable resident input into the Neighbourhood Partnership Board (via the Chairs of The 2005 Group)
- To discuss and share information relevant to the future of Castle Vale particularly through the development of the Neighbourhood Plan via the Neighbourhood Partnership Board.
- To encourage and support new and existing resident groups in Castle Vale by sharing information and assisting with access to funding and training etc.
The group will be open to all residents living in Castle Vale who are over the age of 16 although members must reach the age of 18 before holding office. The group will work to make sure that no resident is excluded on the basis of race, gender, age, disability religion or class.
All members attending meetings must sign the Attendance List which will indicate which group they are representing.
A list of members will be available at all times including the name of the group they are representing.
