Volunteers needed to create a new community orchard in Castle Vale

Orchard planting day-1-page-001Community Environmental Trust are looking for volunteers to help create a new community orchard in Castle Vale. The Orchard Planting Day will be taking place on:

Thursday 24th March, 10am -1pm

Castle Vale Allotments (off Farnborough Road)

The day will include hole digging, tree planting, cage fitting and also some mulching, pruning and general care of the existing trees.

This will be the 10th Helping Britain Blossom Orchard in Birmingham!!!!

Ensure you bring appropriate footwear and clothing. Food will be provided at noon!!!!
