The couch to 5k beginners running course will now take place on:
Tuesdays – starting 2nd June
Thursdays – started 28th May
6pm – 7pm – Meet outside the CVCHA offices, 11 High St, Castle Vale, B35 7PR. Join weeks 1-3 only.
The Couch to 5k plan is designed to get you off the couch and gradually work you up to running 5k (or for half an hour), in just 9 weeks. It is designed for absolute beginners using a mixture of walking and jogging to gradually build up your fitness and stamina.
How long are the sessions for?
- Sessions last between 30 minutes and 45 minutes including warm up and cool down depending on capacity of participants.
What should I wear?
- Comfortable clothing and trainers
What do I need to bring with me?
- A drink
