A new FREE Course called ‘Couch to 5k (C25K) beginners running course’ will begin in Castle Vale this evening – Thursday (28th May) at 6pm for 9 weeks*. We will be meeting at the CVCHA office on the High St, Castle Vale.
The Couch to 5k plan is designed to get you off the couch and gradually work you up to running 5k (or for half an hour), in just 9 weeks. It is designed for absolute beginners using a mixture of walking and jogging to gradually build up your fitness and stamina.
How long are the sessions for?
- Sessions last between 30 minutes and 45 minutes including warm up and cool down depending on capacity of participants.
What should I wear?
- Comfortable clothing and trainers
What do I need to bring with me?
- A drink
