The Challenge Ahead – Communities Taking The Lead

Wednesday 25th February 2015: 9:00am – 4:00pm

The Erdington Health and Wellbeing Group are hosting a conference to discuss the support of older people in our local communities and what can be achieved so that they can live happier and healthier lives.

You are invited to attend this conference that will see a host of guest speakers including: Councillor John Cotton. Cabinet Member for Health and Wellbeing at Birmingham City Council: Ruth Miller, Chair of Erdington District Health and Wellbeing Group: Adrian Phillips, Director Of Public Health at Birmingham City Council: Jo Bagby of the Mind, Body and Spirit Partnership and Alan Lotinga, Director of Birmingham Health and Wellbeing Partnership.

Following this will also be tours and workshops of local organisations that help and support older people in the Kingstanding area.  Please see the event programme below for more details.

This is a FREE event, but please book before Tuesday 17th February as places are filling fast.
